Sister station KLSX for one of my favorite PD's Jay Clark as on-air personality and music coordinator for then alternative, then Triple-A format for the music weekends. Moved over to on-air KOST 103.5 and now currently producing Chris Plank on Fox Sports Radio on 300 stations across America and XM Satellite Radio 142. Catch the show every Friday and Saturday 11pm till 3am PST.

My Interests

Music:

Influences: A major radio influence for me was Jim Ladd on KLOS. He could be so political and then tie it in with a song. I thought, you can do that on the radio. I want to do that do. Imitating Jim for a while in my classic rock days in San Diego. I wanted to do radio since I was 11. Thanks to Jim who I later met during my KLSX/KRLA days for getting me exciting about this business. We never know who we can influence and never met. How amazing!
Sounds Like: Well they don't have what your favorite things are on these type of pages so I thought I'd put one here so you can see what I'm into.
TV

Entourage
Love this show and if you saw it this season even had some Julio references in the episode where Ari's wife was invited back to star in her old soap.
Lost
Great show. The flash forward were confusing since we were so used to flashbacks but got used to it.
Journeyman
Love the concept. If you could travel back in time where would you go? But usually try not to get into network shows that haven't made it since they usually get cancelled and then I get disappointed. The lead in this show was awesome in Rome. Another great series but too bad it's not going to continue. Update: They cancelled this show. Just like I said. Great.
Desperate Housewives
Guys aren't supposed to be into this show. So I'll say I watch this because of Eva Longoria.
Back in the day series I've been into.

Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, Quantum Leap, Star Trek The Next Generation, My Wife and Kids, George Lopez, X-Files, The Twilight Zone just to name a few.
Favorite channels I enjoy.History International, History Channel, Discovery and their sub-channels Science, Times, Learning Channel, HBO, FSN, VH1 Classic, Fuse, NFL Network, Spike, Love Sirius and XM Satellite Radio.
Actors in Movies
Favorite actors Nicolas Cage. Into all his movies. From Peggy Sue Got Married to National Treasure Book of Secrets.
Kevin Costner you know he's been in some great historical dramas and some of the best baseball movies. Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, Talent for the Game, JFK, 13 Days and Dances With Wolves.
Sandra Bullock
Sometimes with guys we like actresses because they look hott and maybe there acting ability is so-so but Sandra can act.
The Net, Speed, Hope Floats, 28 Days to name a few.
Humphrey Bogart he was the James Dean of his generation.
The John Hughes movies 16 Candles, Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller, Pretty in Pink. St Elmo's Fire. (not technically a Hughes film),. Gotta like these movies if you're into eighties music.
The Back to the Future movies.
Music
This is quite an overwhelming subject. I enjoy all genres of music and have probably over 1000 cds or more. I may be using a conservative figure. And I have done almost every format on-air but if I could pick one it would be alternative. Especially eighties and nineties alternative.
Eighties
Depeche Mode, New Order, Bauhaus, Siousxie and the Banshees, Echo and the Bunnymen, ABC, Wall of Voodoo, Devo, Duran Duran, R.E.M, Cure, Smiths, Human League, Psychedelic Furs, B-52s, Police, X, Clash, Ramones, Toys Dolls, The Adicts, Oingo Boingo, Inxs Berlin OMD
Nineties
Nirvana, Pearl Jam, U2, Blink 182, Social Distortion, Linkin Park, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, Bush, Radiohead, Green Day, Offspring, Foo Fighters, Beck, Counting Crows, Stone Temple Pilots, Weezer.
Today Nickelback, White Stripes, Killers, Incubus, All American Rejects, Daughtry.
Of course there's more and in different genres, but there's a small list.
What I like to do in spare time. (When I have time...)
Go to movies. Go to concerts, sporting events and dancing. Work out and play tennis and basketball. Record in my studio.
If you have a subject I haven't covered, feel free to email.
