Im currently a senior at the George Washington University, graduating in May. After I graduate I'll either stay in Dc or live abroad in Egypt or Morocco. I want to work for a federal agency or a non profit organization after I graduate. My dream job would be with the FBI or Foreign Service.I began studying Islam because I feel that this religion is terribly misunderstood in the United States and I would like to bridge the gap between the Muslim community and the US. Since I've started studying Islam I have had quite a few people accost me to say that I am a traitor or that I will get killed if I go to the Middle East. People like this perpetuate the ongoing conflicts and bias towards Muslims. If I support people from another religion or country it does not make me a traitor, nor does it make me unpatriotic. It means that I see a problem in the world that I want to change, and I'll dedicate my life to see that it transpires. I just want our society to understand what Islam is and to stop listening to conservative idiots like Ann Coulter who are disgracing the United States with their idiocy and ignorance towards people of other cultures and religions.If you want to know more, just IM or message me. :)
