Shaun Hill was Born in compton california.Like all the other "Boy'z n Da Hood" he was surrounded by peer's who were gangbanging,hustling,dealing,to a dysfunctional household filled with drug use fussing and fighting.his grandma was the only one who was able to provide some balance in his life.He went to church on and off until the age of 17.he was forced to go by his grandmother and his uncle who played a father figure roll in his life since his father wasn't present .in 1992 when Shaun meet someone by the name of Bobby Hustle who he would begin doing things with to make a little money on the side. Bobby convinced Shaun that they should try to rap.during this time rap started to really grow popular with the likes of N.W.A.,Public Enemy,and Tupac Shakur. Bobby introduced Shaun to a young budding producer out of Compton by the name of Drapor.They recorded there first group song together and shortly there after Shaun recorded a solo song called "I'm Saying Bye Bye",which was a farewell to life and struggle type of song.Shaun received local accolade from this song when he gave a already established producer/rapper by the name of Warren G his demo.Warren would call Shaun about two months later and invited him to his in home studio in Lakewood, California at the time but nothing flourished from the meeting,but this gave him the confidence he needed to continue cause he new he had the gift to write songs.In 1998 Shaun's friend Bobby Hustle moved to Houston,Texas and kept in touch with Shaun and soon invited Shaun to Houston to embark on some hustling ventures with him.This would establish Shaun's first nickname Khanzy because he was young,fly,adventurous,and fearless.This would also spark the notion and inspiration in him to set a new trend and represent and speak for those in the cali Hustler's lane since that's what he was most familiar with.he would later devolop another nick name,Glitz which would be symbolic for a rising star walking a narrow path less traveled.This marks the beginning of Shaun's career soo stay tuned and feel free to visit this website for new songs and musical updates!!
