Micki Croisant & The Good Name Band is an acoustic trio born in the heart of Rogers Park in Chicago, IL. this band is known for Micki's timeless vocals show cased by her original songs... Keith(drums) and Davide (bass) have been playing together for years in many different bands, and when the three met up for the first time it was like they had all been playing together for a long time... like meeting your oldest friends for the first time!Born and raised in michigan, Micki Croisant has a unique perspective when it comes to song writing, uneducated musically she picked guitar up by ear and most of the time has no idea what the name of the chords are she is playing... that's where Berkley trained Davide and total pro. Keith come in... lending a natural pocket to micki's smokey soul driven vocals.. the union is magical and completely tatsty!the Good Name Band has played all around chicago...Abbey pub, Joes on weed st., Underground wonder bar, chicago recording company (C.R.C.), Ch 7 live news, Heartland cafe , red line tap, the Charleston, the Morseland. the wild rover, elastic arts, northwestern down town campus, the SPACE, nevins live, and Fitzgerald's plus many more...the G.N.B. is also featured on the Acoustic Chicago compilation cd, promoting and playing for the cause at many festivals, whole foods stores, and the CRC chicago recording company.

RLT 2/8/08 review

Glad to report that the show at RLT on Friday 2/8 was fucking awesome. I got there around 9ish and was happy to see that the house was brimming with folks. Not quite a packed house...
