Band Members: Jim Mellody - Lead Vocals, Guitar
Jim was determined at a young age to become a great guitar player after he and his friend Andre used to argue over who was the coolest guitarist in middle school. In 2007, Jim wrote and recorded his first album and formed the rock band, Stone Groove Sunday.
Andre Mack - Guitar, Vocals
Andre started playing guitar at 11 years old after hearing BB King,
Albert King, Lightnin Hopkins and Albert Collins. He later became obsessed with the guitar after a friend introduced him to Jimi Hendrix at age 12. It was then that Andre and Jim met in guitar class in middle school and the rest is sort of history. Playing on and off together for several years, they did their own thing but both always knew they would end up back together. You may recognize Andre from his days with Buffalo Strange, a Tampa band that enjoyed good success. Andre joined Stone Groove Sunday (and reunited with Jim) after Buffalo Strange disbanded in 2007.
Ryan Gerardi - Bass
,
Ryan first picked up the bass guitar in 1996 to fill in the low-end of a hip hop group from Ft. Lauderdale called Underground Dwellers (UD). In addition to UD he also worked with an alternative rock band by the name of Sivle. After 4 albums with UD and 1 with Sivle, he moved to Tampa in 1997 and started a variety act by the name of Superfly. This band consisted of styles ranging from hip hop and reggae to alternative rock and metal. He then co-founded a hard rock band by the name of JERC. In addition to bass duties, Ryan also managed this band until its end in 2001. In 2003 he was enlisted to replace the bass player for the popular Tampa rock band 10 Second Drop. Within this band he recorded a nationally released album (Rock Ridge Records) and was fortunate enough to share the stage with the likes of Sevendust, Breaking Benjamin, 3 Doors Down, and many other great bands. Ryan parted ways with 10 Second Drop in 2006 and in late 2007 found his calling in Stone Groove Sunday.
Ryan Frazer - Drums
Steeped in the riffy grooves of Led Zeppelin, Frazer became obsessed with drums after he first heard John Bonham at age 16. Years spent listening to other mammoth drummers including Eric Childs, John "Stumpy" Pepys, and Mick Shrimpton continued to shape his hard-driving, groove-inspired playing style. He played for a progressive-alternative rock band called Elysium from 1998 to 2001, and an indie folk rock band called The Adam Project from 1998 to 2005. After a short hiatus, Frazer joined Stone Groove Sunday in 2007.

Sounds Like: If Dave Grohl, Jimmy Page, Scott Weiland and James Brown had a baby, it would be REALLY ugly, but it would sound like Stone Groove Sunday.
