Selecta Orson, borne Orson Picart, hails from beautiful Belize located in Central America. His interest in music came about from his love for dancing. As a prominent Belizean choreographer, he taught and schooled many Students, ranging from kindergardeners to tertiary levels students. As the years progressed Selecta Orson would find himself comsumed as a poet. This segment of his life would transcend his creativity and outlook on"art", not only for its aesthetic value but also for its impact on everyday life and history. In April of 1999, Orson began working at Belize's first private radio station, radio Krem; it is here where his love for music would be amplified. He would prove to be the best Radio Disc Jockey, untill this day. In the summer of 2002, Selecta Orson along with Selecta Biggaford, Sampla, Mad Rocka Mose would come together to form one of Belize's leading soundstation-"DA DIGNITARIZ". The DIGNITARIZ are booked almost every week in Belize and have travelled and played at several prominent night clubs in New York and Los Angeles. It is undoubltedly obvious that Selecta Orson has not yet Tapped into the wealth of his musical genious, time will tell though, time will tell.Selecta Orson also host the most rated dancehall/reggae/hiphop radio shows in the country. Super Prime Time is Belize’s premier entertainment center for weekdays company and information as well as entertainment news. The show has taken a life of its own; started by Mose Hyde, back in the 80’s and lasting for some ten or more years as the “Mad Rocka Showâ€. Mose then passed on the baton to his protégé Orson Picart, a new comer to the music scene, whose interest in the selection of music and variety escalated over the years from 2001-2003. Picart would prove himself to be the “next big thing†in radio in Belize. Picart started working at Radio Krem in the summer of 1999. Since then his overwhelming energy and interaction with callers has earned this-then young dj—respect from his peers and also older audience members/listeners.Super Prime Time was a name coined by Picart because of his uncanny ability to incorporate entertainment and education and fuse it with the music of the time and create a spectrum-filled talent pool of Belizean, regional and foreign artists into a wholesome recipe for a wide range of listeners. He is the best by far. Super prime time is aired on Radio Krem in Belize during weekdays from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm with the exception of Fridays, which show goes up until 7:00 pm.
