God taught me years ago that everything happens for a reason. When I left school to join the military, just to find out I had Chrons disease, and that I'd be medically discharged from the Air Force 2 years later, I had no clue where life would take me. I was left jobless, broke, sick, and separated from my longtime best friend/boyfriend at the time. Looking back on that time, I now realize God had this plan for me all along. I wasn't meant to be a psych major, I wasn't meant to be an Airmen...I ended up doing what I was put here to do, what I had wanted to do all along: Make a difference. Now I'm a nurse and I effect people's lives on a daily basis..I'm a mother, a daughter, a nurse, a doctor, a friend, a therapist, a hand, an ear...all wrapped up into one... how could it get any better? And now that I find myself going through other changes in my life, such as saying Goodbye to someone I care more about than anything in this world (besides my family), I can't help but know that this is all part of God's plan for me...that I was blessed to have met and been a part of this person's life and that not all people are meant to be in our lives forever...but that they were put here for a reason..a purpose..and that purpose has been fulfilled. If you're reading this, you know who you are and I appreciate everything you've taught me about life and love. It is something no one can ever take away from either of us. Good Luck in the rest of your journey and remember you are special. God has blessed you in infinite ways and your talents can take you anywhere you let them. For everyone else, God bless you and remember there is a plan for all of us. There is no way to rush destiny. You have to keep moving toward it, even if it turns out to be farther away than you thought. You might not appreciate the ride, but when you arrive, you'll know why...
