About Me

Northampton Indie Power-pop Alt-Folk-Rock Duo Cloudy formed in 2004, comprising Singer-songwriter Jon Delaney (me) and lead bassist Paul Creedy. We've since played over 100 gigs around the country, Cloudy’s performances are always surprisingly loud and energetic for an “acoustic” act. The emphasis is always on strong, melodic, well-crafted songwriting with passionate vocals, tuneful lead-basslines and percussive acoustic guitar. Why "Cloudy"?: A common enough scenario - a name off the back of a beer mat, chosen in desperation with less than 7 days to go to our first gig. The original three piece had literally 100 of names to choose from but couldn't find one that all three could agree on until "Cloudy" cropped up. It was short and surprisingly memorable like many of our songs! All songs on this page are Copyright JAG Delaney (c)2004-2006 With exception of:- "All Of My life" PCreedy/JMooney/JAG Delaney (c) 2004
