Massimo Del Prete was born in Naples in Jenuary 28th 1985, and there he lives and works. Photography is entered into his life very soon, when as a little boy he used to play with his father’s old 6x6 Lomo. During teenage years Massimo became very interested in rock music and he started to play drums in a rock band. After high school diploma he entered at Architecture School at Second University of Naples, that he is currently attending. He soon combined his passion for music with his passion for photography and started to perform stage photography and reportage of rock band’s live shows and concerts. He was enrolled as official photographer for Route to Hell festival (Caserta, 01/09/2007), and he had the opportunity to take pictures to some important hard-rock band as Stratovarius, Behemot, Amon Amart… Massimo is keeping on doing stage photography at most of the local live shows.
Besides stage photography, Massimo is also very interested in street photography. He walks on the streets with his camera looking for the hidden soul of people and their lives, and to capture moments of poetry.
