About Me

Well, let's see! What is there to tell anyone out there that would be worth reading and wouldn't be completely redundant from all of the other fine factoids that the surveys on this amazing website haven't already gathered? I'm currently 39 and, by the looks of all the young kids at work, getting older by the second. I was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, ROLL TIDE, and I've been married to Al since what feels like forever (in a great way). We have three georgeous, talented, smart, and loud kids: Alyssa who is 19, and the boys, Christian and Nicholas, who are 14 and 12.In 2004 I accomplished one of my two lifetime goals, getting a college degree in Respiratory Therapy. I waited until Nicholas was in school before I went off to college, but I'm glad I did. Now, I have my degree, and I can work without feeling like I've missed out on all the lovely aspects of raising babies (breastfeeding, diapers, being the one up at 2am, you know the important stuff). In 2005 we moved to Papillion, Nebraska and Al and I saw the fruition of our joint goal, buying our first house. We've spent the last 20 years on the move with the U.S. Army, and this is the first time that we've been anywhere that we know it will be worthwile. Al retires in 2009 and we love the Midwest, so we are trying to put down roots for the first time ever. Last year we faced the hardest part of our life together so far. We had to let our beautiful songbird Alyssa fly away to college. After trying to convince her of the benefits (mostly ours) of living at home and attending the University of Nebrska at Omaha, she ended up going away to Kansas State University. She loves it, but I miss her tremendously.Christian started high school this year. He plays football, acts, and sings in show choir. Nicholas is in 7th grade, acts, sings in show choir, and plays French Horn. It's amazing how fast they grow up.Anyway, we are one big happy loud family who spends a lot of time on the computer, watching DVD's, and laughing at each other performing DDR. If you're ever in Papillion (or Omaha) come on over. We're the only house on the block with sweet tea, and a Kansas State Flag.GO WILDCATS

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I already know Jesus, so my dream is to meet Hillary Clinton, but I'd like to meet anyone besides George W Bush or Charles Manson. One of them is the Antichrist but I haven't decided which one yet (probably W).
