My name is Nyi Nyi as known as "Thar Nge" among Burmese people.
I was born in Burma(Myanmar) and brought up by my musical parents who always encouraged me to become a musician. I started playing accoustic guitar when I was 11 yrs old and I could play guitar properly within 2 years with the help of my older brother. Later on,I beacme interested in the sound of Bass guitar. Then,I tried to learn from anyone around me who could play and knew the knowlage of Bass. Plus I learnt much from the Video lessons and Books. As I tried hard I became the bass player who understood and could play all styles of music at the age of 17 and joined Local band and church band and play around before I stepped up to professinal level. After that I joined the several professional bands and performed Live and did loads of recording works and did fill-in for 2 years before I left Burma in 1994.
I arrived in Australia in 1995. Didn't do much of music due to studying at the TAFE. I was able to do only home recording and practicing my bass during my studying time. Then,I joined several original and cover bands since I moved to Sydney from Canberra in 1997. IM A PROFESSIONAL VERSATILE BASS PLAYER WHO LOVES CHALLENGING HIMSELF WITH TASTY FUNKY BASS LICKS.
