Members of Clevis all grew up in Huntington Beach Ca. Jim (guitars) and Jimmie (drums) have been playing music together since they were seventeen. Craig (vocals) who got his start with vodka and a mister microphone joined the band in early 2000. Donald (bass) who played trumpet in Voodoo Glow Skulls among other things, joined on soon after. They have a unique sound that is aggressive and yet controlled at the same time. Clevis has a full length album (Last Stop) that is out now on Griffdog Records.
