This is a TRIBUTE site to the legendary Buck Owens.
Born in Texas in 1929, Buck Owens' family migrated west to Arizona when Buck was a boy during the Depression era, with Buck later moving even further west to Bakersfield, California, where he later became the legend he was meant to be, churning out hit after hit, developing that signature rockin' and twangin' loud Telecaster sound. Although country music ain't what it used to be in a popular sense, Buck's influence on real country artists like Dwight Yoakam, The Derailers, and Dale Watson can still be easily felt today.
