ah yes, the defintion of self in less than so many words. let's see...i'm a returned peace corps volunteer finishing grad school for international public health and looking to save the world within my lifetime...tricky! i am spiritual person, but not so much religious. i do my damnedest to keep myself from falling head first into the consumerist daze that is the united states. i am completely and madly in love, and finally understand the meaning of the cryptic "when you know, you just know." i have been lucky enough to meet and hold on to a few amazing friends who love me unconditionally and will forever have my undying loyalty, love and support. i do my best and that is all i have to offer as i learn from my mistakes. i love to travel, eat, cook, sing at the top of my lungs (in tune or off key), drink good beer or frozen, fruity margaritas, watch international films, admire eye candy of all kinds, procrastinate until the absolute last minute, plant things and watch them grow, and educate myself whenever and wherever possible. i am coming to understand the importance of simplicity, love and compassion in life and hope to weave these concepts into mine at every turn.
