"oh, sorry. I'm fresh out of failure, all i've got left is success" - me

About Me

My name is Michael Simpson Jr, I will be 27 years old next Wednesday, and I am an actor/writer/dancer in North Hollywood, California. I am highly content with who I am as a person and couldn't ask for more. There is so much misfortune and adventure in my life, it might as well be a novel. Things go wrong everyday with me and so I never run out of material. You come to a door. You've never seen it, nobody knows anything about it, and you are alone. One of two things can happen. You either walk away, or you open the door. When you are old and your life has come to it's conclusion...don't you wanna be able to say you had the courage to open the door?I am an extremely approachable person and love meeting new people. I will right more later:0)

My Interests

My interests are any and everything entertainment related. Honestly. It's all I do. I enjoy getting consumed by my desires, and getting lost in everything I don't understand. The stars fascinate me...I wanna be there, in the heavens...in space. Flying around, jumping from planet to planet, without a care in the world...it's all I do all day everyday in my head anyway:0)

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet anyone whom is into life and every aspect of it. Actors from all walks of the art, especially those from the Sanford Meisner Center, which is where I go. Dancers, especially those whom go to Millennium Dance Studio, which is across the street from my house. People who believe in Dreams and Love. Writers, daydreamers, believers. Those with a hunger so strong for life, that it almost overwhelms them. People who cry. People who laugh alot. I would like to meet you!View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Books:

The Bible - technically about 40 authors Fearless books 1 through 38 - Francine Pascal Blue Like Jazz - Donald Miller Searching for God knows what - Donald Miller Through painted deserts - Donald Miller Lew Hunter's Screenwriting 401- Lew Hunter The Stand - Stephen King Aristotle's Poetics - Aristotle On The Heavens - Aristotle "it should be noted that this book was Aristotles claim as to the earth being a round sphere rather than a flat plate. His main argument being that eclipses of the moon were caused by the earth coming between the sun and the moon, and the earth's shadow on the moon was always round. If the earth had been a flat disk, the shadow would have been elongated and elliptical, unless the eclipse always occurred at a time when the sun was directly under the center of the disk." Angels & Demons - Dan Brown the DaVinci code - Dan Brown Arrival of The gods - Erich von Daniken "it should be noted that Daniken's last name has umlats over the a, and that he is a native of Zofingen, Switzerland which is where he still resides...he is my favorite swiss writer. Titles of his publications would make you feel that he was a christian writer, with his first work back in 1968 being titled "Chariots of the god's" followed by "The gold of the god's" in 1970 and about a dozen more with similar titles...however, he writes about aliens and extraterrestrial life and his research is beyond thorough and extensive. And while some of his tactics have been known as controversial, I for one, love his writings. Arrival of the gods is about revealing the alien landing sites of Nazca...very crazy shit in that book. Here is an excerpt from the Foreward: "What on earth is Nazca? Above all it is mysterious and strange, even uncanny. Nazca is at the same time both understandable and opaque. It is magic, seductive, logical and absurd all at once. Nazca is like a thunderous assault on one's reason. Its message is veiled and confused - every single theory about it is contradictory. Nazca seems unfathomable and insoluble, crazy and senseless. Some of the 'scrape drawings', the visual messages surrounding the little town of Nazca, seem childish, the result of unthinking impulse; others seem to be appealing to our powers of reason, asking us to test out the threads of this mystery and dig down to the truth." A brief History of Time - Stephen Hawking World Civilizations: Sources, Images, and Interpretations Vol. 2, Third Edition - Sherman, Grunfeld, Rosner Loopholes of the rich - Diane Kennedy, C.P.A. Rich Dad, Poor Dad - Robert Kiyosaki "it should be noted that I do NOT agree with the majority of Mr. Kiyosaki's writings, however, they do hold truth for what they speak of, i've come to find, in terms of Real Estate and business ownership...we just share dissimilar value as to wether or not it is the ultimate means in terms of stabilzed investing... A first look at Communication Theory, Fifth Edition - Em Griffin Alien Encounters - Chuck Missler/Mark Eastman Poems of the Half Shell - Gail Gauldin Moore E.E. Cummings: Complete Poems 1904-1962 - E.E. Cummings "My favorite poem in this collection is I CARRY YOUR HEART WITH ME...freaking amazing poem. The Complete Poems of Emily Dickinson - Emily Dickinson "I think every thinking man has at one point or another had a crush on Emily Dickinson...not physically, but her words...you MUST have a crush on a women whom writes like this...it's just a rite of passage...this was confirmed to me by Donald Miller once at a reading he did here at Bel Air Presbyterian Church on Mullholland dr. in Los Angeles"
