creator. destroyer. a dreamer at heart. and a warrior in disguise... i choose a higher path, one forged from love, strength, compassion, and a mind open to the universe at it's largest and it's most minute. there is beauty everywhere. look harder. the light at the end of the tunnel was inside you all along. dance. sing. share the memories and fantasies, the things that link us in the chain of being. the desert does not crave water any more than sea wishes to evaporate into salt and sand. the brother of night is day, and all things are evolving and expanding as they should be.
the wings of birds and angels carry my hopes to the heavens, where sometimes they are burned into the ether before becoming. and i'm ok with that. i see magick everywhere. i like ritual, bones, and prime numbers. i think dancing is sacred. i dance. a lot. i can make a mean pot of soup and am handy with a 9mm. mention dark fashion, or dark matter, and my ears will perk up. i believe that it's important to teach children to grow their own food, and that survival is a high art. stronger than i look, i've finally learned to be resilient as hell. i've worked to overcome my passive aggressive tendencies, and it's not my favorite thing about other people. always looking, learning, and working to evolve myself while keeping in touch with my primal nature, i believe shared intention can heal all, but also that violence is sometimes necessary to keep the peace in this world as it is. i think science and spirituality walk hand in hand, and one can open our eyes to the other. i often feel as though i was born in the wrong place and time, fascinated by my past and future lives, and oddly apathetic toward this one. i used to own a little shoppe in portland, and have been on hiatus since, preparing for the new era, and persuing new dreams to manifest. i've also helped scheme to bring several events to the portland underground, including the dark fashion shows at convergence 13, the phoenix parade, 2008's la mode macabre, and conflux, the northwest's premiere dark arts festival. sometimes i'm a wreck, and i love laughing at myself. being human can be a funny and rediculous experience. even the moments i hate, i love...
