About Me

Where should I begin? There was a time when I was so witty and funny...now I feel...well...not. Hmmm...I have begun 2008 as a happily married woman who works at a job I love. I love working with teens and I think they are some of the smartest, most creative people I know. I love to act and I love to write but I don't do enough of either. I am passionate about serving the Lord and sharing the message of Jesus Christ. I recently began attending a new church and am enjoying getting to know the people there. I am content in my life and at the same time exploring change. This is a wonderful place to be. Other things of interest- if you are still reading- I love musicals, Jane Austen novels, the smell of babies on the tops of their heads, a cup of tea on a cold night, t-shirt sheets, sunny days, the feel of the perfect pen in your hand, seeing my husband walk towards me, the sound of my best friends laugh, my sister's letters when she is far from home, my other sister sitting in my room talking the night away, my teens standing around my desk, and the book of Ruth. There is more...but I have bored you long enough.

My Interests

The many interests of me:P I love to act- I don't do enough of it, but I love it. I read a lot- mostly Chicklit and sappy love stories. It's an addiction and I am working on it. I watch more movies and TV than I should- Beauty and the Geek was a guilty pleasure. I write- someday I want to be a published writer and I am working on owning a laptop. :P

Music:

I listen to a little bit of everything- I love musicals- so those are what I have the most of, Phantom of the Opera, Mama Mia, Wicked, Les Mis, Hero, anthing by Disney, etc. I also like Christian artists, Todd Agnew (I have to right Katie!?), Chris Rice, FFH, Third Day, Tait, Ginny Owens is one of my favorites, Jonah 33- they rock and I love Joshy! Everything else is too much of a hodgepodge to go into. If it's clean then I will listen to it.

Movies:

These are just some of the many movies that I love- Those dreaded Disney cartoon movies, Phantom of the Opera, Bridget Jones' Diary, Braveheart, Rob Roy, Pride and Prejudice, American Outlaws, Timeline (not the best movie, but man was Gerard Butler good!), Notting Hill, Sense and Sensibilty...the list could go on and on.

Television:

I don't actually watch as much televison as I once did. What I do tune into is mostly junk TV, but I love it. Beauty and the Geek, The Biggest Loser, ET, Access Hollywood- that's about it. Oh- and I love Teen Titans!

Books:

Other than the Bible which is a given-Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice and really anything by Jane Austen. Anything with those annoyingly bright lime green with pink and orange covers. No really- I love chicklit. Bridget Jones' Diary, What a Girl Wants, my newest obsession is with the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon. How I love the Scottish dialect! Um...where was I- oh yeah books- What my mother doesn't know- it's a YA title, but I love it. It reminds me of school. The list could keep going, but I won't bore you any longer.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ is number one. My parents and grandparents follow them. My grandfather was an awesome man who died 4 times before the last one stuck. My best friend Katie is one of the most honorable, kind, loving persons I have ever met. Then there are all the hereos that are serving everyday here in America and overseas to make this world a safer place- you will never know how much you all mean to me and all Americans who are able to sleep soundly in their beds at night. We thank you.
