The Bell Bottom Blues was formed in May 2007, but each member's passion to create music and love for the great Eric Clapton actually began some 35 years ago. Because of this passion, love and talent of each member it wasn't long before the band was ready to perform for live audiances.
Through the vocals and lead guitar of Al Caprara, slide, rythm & lead guitar of John Kurdyla, funky base of Eric Collier and Beats of Lou Caprara, the band has captured the likeness of Eric Clapton and his bands from the early psychdelic days of Cream through his classic hits of his solo career.
It's one thing to create a band to pay tribute to such an icon as Eric Clapton, but for the band to be able to capture the feel as well as we do both vocally and musically is a special thing to create.
The goal of The Bell Bottom Blues is to perform and have the audiance really feel that they are watching and listening to EC. While paying tribute by making good music there is no better satisfaction for us then watching the audiance and knowing we have achieved our goal.
