My Interests

Mostly interesting things and some things that may just be interesting to me like stamps, celotape and Lift voices (I dated a lift voice once...precious times..) beards!!!!!!I do love a good beard!Scottish people in particular David Tennant...he's so dreamy tea and music as pre-mentioned, oh yeah and those little mosied towletts that they give you in food places! Elvis's hair(but not actually elvis...) , small deer...or actually anything that is novely small and.......
The voice of Francis Healy that haunts my dreams!....Sometimes

Art Baby YEAH!I live for art! And am becoming a little bit more of an art geek everyday! woop! =) .I thought i'd join the Shrigley club......He is the man....Bob and Roberta Smith 3George Kuchar

I'd like to meet:

Apart from kevin bishop!?! (he sings like an angel and he knows the muppets!!...I wish i knew the muppets)

very lovely people and ones that just have loveliness about them, Im lucky enough to know quite a few already! hehe

Music:

I think music is fab!! and my taste kinnda varies from day to day- to day im in a indie mood yesterday it was more electro maybe tomorrow will be a death metal day! who can be sure....... funky, funky! aOOw!!

Movies:

Me like films!!!! They're just like an old man telling you stories...sexual and disturbing stories!!Espeshally if its Russ Meyer..gotta love Russ! I feel a bit like i have alot of catching up to to with watching them tho sometimes....I wasnt around when the old film making milarky started....and they just keep making the darn things! All the fricking time!another five were made when you read that scentence! and I wanna watch them all!! so if you ever see me in front of a screen with blood coming out of my ears and eyes....please just turn it off! I've had enough!!

That being said..... I like dodgey movies..particularly of the b-movies verity anything ed wood's been near.. indianna jones, neapolian dynamite or even a little Hammer Horro the crappier the better! I need to watch more zombie films!!!mmmmm brains.... However my fave film at the mo is I (heart) huckabies!! I just cant get bored with it!! it makes me laugh everytime and Jason has very lovely hair!!"you rock, rock". Robin hood (men in tights) is also fab...Comedy is probally my genre of choice (even if its not the choice of the film maker!) although I doo love a good comicbook stolen concept! anything that has once been a "graphic novel" I lapp up! you the type with some sort of mutant or vampire or hybrid! It's kinnda research for my super hero gig! blade-x-men-spiderman-superman-dracular you get my point.I also like a good Vampire movie!...It's gotta be a subconcious sexual thing....I just want to be bitten!haha! I love the not so bloody childhood classics tho too such aslabrynth and the princes bride! and not just because of David Bowie in tights! these films sparked my imagination at a young age for which I am very greatfull! I loved and still do anything thats been near Jim henson the more psychadelic and crazy the better!!preferrably with The Muppets!!

Gonzo is a childhood crush!! he's the dude!!lol!

Im also up for something a bit heavier tho actually come to think of it mental illness or rehab are popular themes in films i watch one flew over the cuckoo's nest is one of my favorite films, Awakenings with bobby deniro made me cry for days! and 28 days the one with sandra bullock and viggo mortensen....im not sure why...I just like it! I do like a bit of sci-fi as long as it stretches my imagination! vanilla (crappy) sky was a pile of poo soo very disapointed by the crappy ending!!I nearly cried Tom Cruise is a tool!!

Something a bit Arty can be good too! Actually it can be awesome and being in the fine artist game gives me an excuse to watch lots and lots!!Yay! Always willing to talk art!! I like Bjorks crazy hubby Matthew Barney with his mad-cap films and although he's not strickly arty I would love to have the hypothetical babies of Micheal Gondry I love him very much! Saw the science of sleep the otherday and salavated over all the yummy shots! love your work sir I also like films I dont understand! and what can be more confusing than one in a language you dont speak! they're also good cuz I dont feel so guilty for not reading a book instead Amelie is lovely....and anything with Gael Garcia Bernal...we have a fan club! I prefere newer world cinema so far in my discoverys as the ones that are a bit too clasic confuse me with the crazy generation gap! saw Jules et Jim the other day and not so sure!!. Anything by Tim Burton with his crazy hair, is always fab too Sleepy hollow, edward scissor hands and Big fish to name but a few.

Breakfast at tiffany's is also one of my all time faves!! I know its cliché but I cant help it! Audrey Hepburn rocks!!espesh with George Peppard mmmm! "You know what's wrong with you, Miss Whoever-you-are? You're chicken, you've got no guts. You're afraid to stick out your chin and say, "Okay, life's a fact, people do fall in love, people do belong to each other, because that's the only chance anybody's got for real happiness." You call yourself a free spirit, a "wild thing," and you're terrified somebody's gonna stick you in a cage. Well baby, you're already in that cage. You built it yourself. And it's not bounded in the west by Tulip, Texas, or in the east by Somali-land. It's wherever you go. Because no matter where you run, you just end up running into yourself." Its brilliant hehehe

Television:

ok......I watch alot of tv! mostly on dvd at the mo as I dont personally have a tv Licence.....which is probally even lamer that just watching telly...but I do get out too so all is well! The Mighty Boosh!!!!Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt are kings amongst men...It's a popular thing to like them at the mo....but as with all things that get over exposed..Its down to a certain amount of brillience!

..
* Plus i want to make bobby bob bob my wife.........
Angel was very good its the only series i bought on video cuz i couldnt wait for it to come out on dvd!!......It's very popular with my housemates too....we like tall dark and handsome heros!

Neighbours!!! espeshally the one where Ramsay street exploded and everyone was loseing the minds!!!....Lost is fairly addictive too ....Dr Jack!..Infallible moral Fiber...mmmm very annoyed that they are putting it on sky tho! boooo!!Scrubs makes me pee my pants..The Simpsons! one of a kind comedy.. blackadder, the young ones and muppet babies are old friends from the past but havnt been on for ages...also really enjoying Nighty night!! shes maaad!! The Green Wing was awesome too!!I love mark heap
(seeing him dancing around in his underpants playing a recorder was a highlight hahaha!!) Also Spaced...... Brian is my role model!! I CAN BE conceptual!! ohh! Arrested development is also very good! FATHER TED!!'my lovely, lovely, lovely horse!' and "what would you say to a cup?" "feck off cup!" its fab!! remindes me of childhood holidays to vist my grandparents in ireland! feel like ive actually met most of the characters!
"Down with this sort of thing!" "Careful Now!"Nathan barley also made me giddy with glee! and how could I forget Catterick!!although many people did!?!
I love comedy tho so i'll watch owt funny! ..

Books:

mmmmmmmmmm books.......I like books..they smell so good...Im in dire need of a good one at the moment! last one i read was 1984 by george orwell which is fun and also a little bit scary! Does anybody remember the magic far away tree by Enid Blighton? With moonface and the sauspanman? crazy times.....Jim giraffe was a promising book...man haunted buy a ghost giraffe.. but havnt finnished it because its surprisingly rude lol! and im a prude! Cloud atlas was ok has a really pretty cover. which i find is alllllways the best way to judge a book.

hehe...then theres your obviouse lotr! which are always fun and c.s Lewis " the lion the witch and the wardrobe" which I was pant wettingly excited about them making in to a film!! and then brutially dissapointed!I dont care if something was written for kids...if its good i'll read it..those types of books are probally more my level anyhoo! I like funny books "letters of a timewaster" was verrrry funny!! and I love to read anything that Dave Gorman or danny wallace have been near as they are very funny people! also a bit of sci/fi/com never does me anything but the world of good! even if it knocks points of the cool-o-meter (the way in which saying cool-o-meter does!lol) Douglas adams is the man! hitch hikers guide trilogy of four are the best!! there are more books too im sure of it even tho my spelling is still terrible!! damn you lying teachers!!! maybe i should join a book club hmmmmm.......

I wish I lived in Waterstones

Heroes:

I dont know about heroes but I like people with beards probally because I cant grow one.............

.............................and maybe him....vvv

just a little bit.

Ok and my skirts.........they'll rock your world and then make you a cup of tea =)
