Profile courtesy of Free MySpace Layouts Founded in 2007, R.O.A. Gallery was created under the direction of Steve Vintage to merge art and t-shirts into a fusion of unique fashion. Inspirations are drawn from the streets of the city and urban subcultures of New York and Los Angeles, including street artists, grafitti artists, painters, and the like. Featured in the collection are random objects that speak to the streets where punk, street, skate and hip-hop lifestyles collideEach design is original art and each shirt is hand-printed by the artist, using methods employed by artists in the early days of screenprinting, such as the table-top method of printing utilized by the great Andy Warhol. Each label is hand-drawn artwork and hand-cut. All goods are made and manufactured in the US.Found only in select boutiques, throughout the U.S., Japan, and Australia, R.O.A. Gallery features limited edition pieces with an emphasis on graphic design. Fits are modern. Flecks, marks, splatters, and different placement of applications are intentional.R.O.A. may be interpreted as “Raised On Art” , “Raised On Aerosol”, or “Remnants of Art.”.
