Sounds Like: Big Tone Da Doegetta born Antonio Rogers December 12th1986 in Chapel Hill NC has had music in his heart since elementary school he recalls. He was in the 5thgrade when he discovered he had the talent to keep a steady flow on a beat, just like the rappers on his older brothers cd’s he would listen to when his parents went to sleep. It was not until 5 years later when he would become serious about his passion for hip hop. At the age of 16 he recorded his first song in his friend’s basement. They formed a pretty big alliance that lasted for a few years. Due to differences and some people maturing, the Independent label known as “Concrete Streetz Ent” parted ways. Now “Big Tone” has started his own indie imprint known as “Carolina Swag Ent”. The name comes from his latest single “Carolina Swag” which will soon be heard all through the southeastern region. Big Tone says that “Carolina Swag” is not just a song but a movement. He is yet to release a solo project but has a mixtape and set to release the summer of 2009 titled “Back 2 Da Drawing Board”. Keep your eyes open, you will probably see him in a city near you performing at an event near you soon!
