About Me

Hello and welcome to my little portal in this crazy kazbah that is called Myspace. Yep, people flaunting their wares everywhere, like the marketplace before closing, and I am no exception! As my own little tunes play themselves while you read, let me introduce myself…I was born in Melbourne and decided to take up classical violin as a child, which I enjoyed until becoming a little distracted by things rock n’ roll as a teenager. This may have had something to do with having a guitarist father who would take my brother and I to guitar shops to look at Strats, Teles, ES335s, etc.Somehow I managed to study classical music at university and popped out thoroughly confused as to my musical identity, so did what all confused early twenty somethings do, took up Irish fiddle, played in a band and ran away to Ireland (hmmm maybe that’s just me…)!However, the call of guitar proved too strong, and I reclaimed my right to write songs, just like the rest of the music population. Here is my take on that ol’ chestnut for your perusal. So, dear patient reader, my songs are my take on this crazy old world where we all live. By making up a wee story for a few minutes, they allow me a tiny smile, which I hope they do for you too.Ta for taking the time to check them out.

Is that the sound of a record button I hear before me??

Yep, it's happened. Last weekend Joel and I began recording five songs at Studio Cabin Fever, at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. Not that it was an easy start to this little project- what with ...
