Hello everyone, I’ve tried to freshen up some of the things that I’ve written on the page once again. Lord knows if anyone actually reads this or actually cares but still! I’m never sure what to include on the page and I’d really appreciate a comment from you if you’re reading this of things I should write about, blog on, what pictures to include, what song I should have and whether I should bother with video on my page. If you don't leave a comment then fine, I may hunt ou down though. I don't know how but I will, get me some night vision! Let me know, it only takes a couple of seconds to leave a comment you crunt. Yes I did mean cRunt not the offensive word!
Oh and if you know any good sites that do animated gifs or codes so you can do cool things on your page (like pimpmymyspace) then let me know. Help a brudda out! Brudda, don't you love rubbish slang?
First and foremost, for a long time I wrote this page assuming that everyone that read it I knew. I now know that that isn’t the case! If you look at my map below (waaaay below) you’ll see that I get a lot of attention from those you stateside and probably a few from way out in the middle of random oceans, apparently they get wireless! I assume this has a lot to do with my musical taste, tv taste and my obsession with pro wrestling! So as this section is called ‘about me’, sit down son and I’ll tell you a tale!
Well, my name is Fisher. No that’s not my first name but it’s the name that I like people to call me, the name Dave is far too common and far too boring. Everyone knows about a 1000 Daves. I did want to form a club called ‘Club Dave’ for Dave’s everywhere to unite but then I realized that idea sucked because it would be a total sausage-fest!
I’m a 23 year old chap that works in Marketing in London. No I don’t have a filofax! It’s strange because I really like my job, I get to go to a lot of swanky places and do poncy things but underneath it all I’m not really like that at all. In fact I bloody hate having to wear a suit! Still it pays the bills! Gotta have that beer money!
I’m a football fan, soccer to my statesides readers! I’m an England and Tottenham Hotspur fan. I’m gutted that we didn’t win the UEFA cup this year but as long as we qualify next year I’m sure we’ll do well again. Let’s hope Arsenal have an even worse season next year!
The other ‘sport’ is pro-wrestling. Yes I love that more than football even though it's been increasingly difficult to watch post-wrestlemania 23. I’ve been a huge fan since 1998 and never miss a live PPV and very rearly miss a show. I’ve grown up on the stuff and can’t seem to pull myself away. I’m a big fan of the Undertaker (my fave growing up) and Shawn Michaels (the best of all time in my opinion). Other favourites of mine include Johnny Nitro (John Morrison), Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Chris Benoit (well I used to love his matches before the tragic events earlier this year), Kurt Angle, Colt Cabana, Triple H, Paul London, Jamie Noble, Gregory Helms, Lance Storm, Masato Tanaka, Mick Foley, Edge, Chris Jericho (when he did wrestle) and William Regal. Enough for ya?
I’m really into movies and TV. I won’t list all of my favourites because most of them are on the left hand side of the page. All I’ll say is that as far as movies go, you won’t ever meet such a critical person! I love taking a film apart! For the film fans amongst you, you should all download Mark Kermodes podcast from itunes or the bbc website, great stuff. The good doctor critiques films in a way most of us can only dream of. I’ll keep this short – I’m a HUGE Smashing Pumpkins fan. From that I mean I like their music a lot, I don’t mean I’m a large person that likes smashing pumpkins! You should pick up a copy of their latest offering; Zeitgeist. It rocks and offers so much after each listen. Current fave track from the album is Doomsday Clock.

Right, onto my random thoughts and feelings! (This is the section that I’ll probably update most often!)
I’m heading to the Reading Festival again this year. I have attended in 2003 and 2006 so this will be my 3rd and probably the most special since the Smashing Pumpkins are playing and this will be only the second time I get to see them live. I can’t wait! If you’re going then let me know, maybe we could have a beer or sing songs in campsite! Less than 2 weeks to go...br
Saw the Smashing Pumpkins perform on June 19th (the day before my bday) with Shambler. Was awesome. Shepherd's Bush seemed tiny, even smaller than I remember from when I saw Zwan there in 2003. Pumpkins were so good that it was musically the best show I've ever seen live, even topping Billy Corgan's other band, Zwan. That venue must have some magic because both times I've been there it's been the best shows I've ever seen. Perhaps BC and JC on stage might have something to do with it?
I won the "Best League Ever ii", I think by 45 points ahead of my nearest rival in the end! Not a bad innings! I have 2 teams this year, one for a work league and one for my friends. I'm not confident with either team to be honest. Mid-table is the best I can hope for.

Oh and I think I should tell you about the Manic Street Preachers, Their new album ‘Send away the tigers’ is fantastic. It's probably not an album you'll listen to over and over for years to come but there are some decent choons on there. Rendition and Autumnsong are class! If you're an indie or Manics fan then definitely check it out! Oh and while we're speaking Manics, 'Generation Terrorists' is one of my top ten albums EVER and 'Lifeblood' is a really underrated album. The moral of the story? Check out their back catalogue of music, it's great! I'm going to see them for the first time in December at Brixton, should be awesome. Hopefully they'll bust out some early Manics classics.

Me and the motley crue headed to Ibiza this summer which was cracking. So much so that some of the lads are heading back in September. Shame that I 'can't' really go. Still, once and Reading is more than enough for me. I WILL try and put a blog up soon...promise!
Spurs are going on another European tour! 5th, two years running and decent cup runs! Shame our season stalled at the first hurdle (Sunderland) this year. Come on guys, we need a fiery start!

I recently attended UFC 70 in Manchester. Was an average show with 2 great fights. Michael Bisping had an exciting bout and won much to the delight on the UK and Gabriel Gonzaga KO’ed (and I can’t emphasize this enough) Mirko Cro cop with a lethal high kick to the head. Cro cop is awesome but looked 2nd rate to the young hungry fighter. I suggest you try your best to see this KO, it really is sick! I’m really getting into MMA and I’m glad I got to experience it. A big thank you to Jenny and Vicky for entertaining us over the weekend, I had a wicked time. Oh and Hoye, thanks for taking me up to Manc. We need more road trips, it would help if I drove!
