The female vocal quartet was conceived and placed together by Tyesha Williams and Marquetta Johnson, both current members of Intyce. Williams and Johnson wanted a vocal group who could exude sultriness and intelligence in addition to vocal proficiency, and they wanted material that would fuse R&B and girl group traditions with a taste of new R&B flavor. The two held auditions and welcomed the membership of Steenah Jefferson and Kim Crawford. In the late summer of 2007 as fate would have it, the ladies became a four member girl group known as INTYCE. In early 2008 Karissa Jones was added as a fifth member. Soon after, Kim Crawford left, returning the group to a quartet. The group has performed at many local clubs, has been the opening act for artists such as Rachelle Brown and Tank. These ladies have not only bonded as a group but as a sisterhood. The group is currently forming there first self titled album Intyce, and the producers are crafting an image of stylish, sophisticated, and sexy.Be prepared to be INTYCEd by female R&B group sounds of the ladies of INTYCE!
