My Interests

I have tons o' interests. Languages, music, technical things and art. Wow, talk about generalizing. Specifically, some examples include Japanese, Chinese (both), Tagalog, j/c/kpop, asian media, computers - hardware and software, photography, and I like to pretend i can draw on occasion.

I'd like to meet:

Sorry, I'm not "collecting" friends, so unless I know you or you send a message about a friend request, expect to be rejected! Nothing personal.
Hmm... Yoshizawa Hitomi? haha. Might as well add Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung...
I'd love to talk to people all over the globe, especially in Asia. I'd like to practice my Japanese, and learn a bit of Mandarin and Cantonese as well.

Music:

I like music of all kinds, from country (some) to metal (some), american to everything else.
For example... Polysics, Johnny Cash, Spoken, Wedding Party, Tourniquet, Five Iron Frenzy, The Benjamin Gate, Boa, Orange Range, Aya Ueto, Twelve Girl Band, on and on....

Movies:

Equilibrium, Matrix (first only), Hackers, etc, nearly anything with Stephen Chow or Jackie Chan. I watch a lot of Korean movies, and Japanese/Hong Kong movies as well

Television:

Strange as it may be... I don't watch TV. Nothing useful on. Not a thing...
I do happen to watch Asian Television on occasion... on my computer of course. Including the Japanese show Densha Otoko...

Books:

I have many favorites, including... Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series
any Orson Scott Card book
Asimov's Foundation series
Terry Pratchett's Discworld
just about any Roger Zelazny, including the Amber series
Also, any Timothy Zahn

Heroes:

Rand Al'Thor is my hero. He got the just about the perfect combination. Of course, there's the whole Power thing too.

My Blog

Not quite so melancholy

Earlier I was in the mood to write a rather melancholy blog, which is fairly typical I suppose.  When I had a livejournal (or I should say, when I actually posted), for the most part I only poste...
