It was 14 years after I was born in Mannheim, Germany when I had my first contact with electronic music. This year, I had a new experience which would turn my life upside down. All of a sudden, I recognized that music was not just some sounds in the air.
It is the language of emotions. It can tell things no person could ever put into words. And everyone in the world can understand this language of love, frustration, happiness, fear - covering just every feeling there is.
Finally, in 2006, I didn’t just want to listen to music. I wanted to be the captain of a ship called music, navigating through a deep sea of emotions.
I have listened to almost all kinds of what I think is the most beautiful thing in the world – music. But only one style touched me that intense manner i described above: progressive house music.
There is no clear definition of progressive. It contains elements from all kinds of music. By this variety, it can surprise listeners over and over again in a way that cannot be described.
That’s why music - and especially progressive - is so exciting to me.
Addicted to music,
