RED LIGHT ANTICS

About Me

Red Light Antics was formed in the fall of '07 when Tyler Nicholls (former From this Memory) and Ryan Beaudrie (former Carr1er, Rhetorik/Flatline) decided to start recording some songs they had written while playing in other bands. They began to record their music and share with friends and soon people we're demanding a live performance. Ryan called on the support of long-time friends and past band-mates, Simon Paul and Anthony Troywalchuck, on bass and guitar respectively. Then the search for a solid drummer began, after months, multiple auditions and a few referrals they found the super-talented Mike Lajoie (former Fall To Ashes). Since then, RLA has been playing dozens of shows, writing tunes, practicing methodically and crafting their sound. The result is a technical, yet sensible, dark yet emotionally honest, fresh and memorable amalgamation of styles. Tyler's lyrics touch on the subject of self-reflection, past mistakes, fictional stories as well as relationships gone awry which makes their songs something everyone can relate to. In the future RLA plans to continue down this road called the music business with hopes of bringing something new to music fans while doing what they love; writing, recording, performing and LIVING music.
