PRESS ROOM ISABELLA ZOCCHI COLLEZIONI..ISABELLA ZOCCHI BIO - ENGLISHBorn and raised in Varese (Italy) in 1976, Zocchi learned the art of modeling wax for jewelry as an apprentice in her family’s goldsmith. Growing up, Zocchi studied the basic principals of metalworking and technical backgrounds of wax molding, but she wanted more education in order to expand and perfect her craft in jewellery design.She graduated in 1999 at the European Institute of Design of Milan where she honed her skills, developed her own unique style and cultivated bold, striking designs with panache. Some of her early work can be viewed at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) website, in the Historical Gallery (30th anniversary foundation). Post graduation, she joined Binda Italia S.P.A as the assistant to the R&D Director for the brands Breil, Tribe and Breil Stones. Her involvement with creative development at Binda led her to drawing and creating prototypes of jewelry pieces. While employed by Binda, she created the model “ Bonn †for Dolce & Gabbana Time which was exhibited at BaselWorld, one of the world’s largest watch and jewelry trade shows. After her successful Dolce & Gabbana design in 2002, Isabella became Project Manager for the Roberto Cavalli Timewear, Just Cavalli Time, and Moschino Hours & Minutes brands under Franco Bosisio at Bulgari-Sectorgroup S.P.A. Zocchi's next global conquest was Retkie Industries, located in Hong Kong . She was hired as a Senior Designer & Developer for the Iceberg brand of watches and jewelry including Enrico Coveri, Fila, and Viceroy. This position allowed her not only creative freedom but product development as well. While with Retkie, she spent six months of the year in Hong Kong developing products and the remainder in Milan working side by side with the head designer to perfect the pieces. Although Zocchi had so much experience and knowledge behind her, she applied for and was warmly welcomed at the Fashion Institute Burgo in Milan . While there she completed a course study in Design of Accessories and created her first collection of designer shoes. 2006 saw the creation of the Isabella Zocchi Design Studio in Gallarate, a stones throw from Milan . The design studio allows Zocchi to have complete control over all aspects of the design process; from the initial concept to the completed piece. The Isabella Zocchi Design Studio harnesses the imaginative, creative ideas of young designers from the region. During the first year she designed the latest watches collection for Nautica, Helveco, Adrenalina, Aigner and Police brands. Shortly thereafter, she was recognized for innovation and expansion of the territory by the Artisan Association of Varese. This success convinced her to debut in the fashion accessories market to be renowned as international designer. In 2007 she founds, together with her father Oreste and brother Denis, the ORDEIS srl based in Samarate (Milan area) for the production and distribution of the Isabella Zocchi Collezioni label introducing the Fall/Winter collection of jewels, shoes and handbags entirely and individually hand-crafted in Italy. London signs her public debut with an exclusive catwalk show in front of Media and fashionistas odience during the 3-days international event LA DOLCE VITA in March 2008 at the Grand Hall Olympia. In a short time a prestigious recognition to the Zocchi's footwear collection by the Los Angeles based HighHellShoeMuseum which has selected 4 models along her summer collection to be featured in the ultimated selection of the most beautiful exotic and luxury shoes from around the world and posted on www.highheelshoemuseum.com Recently she has been showcasing her latest collection at NEW YORK COUTURE FASHION WEEK at the Westin Times Square, Majestic Ballroom which will further propel her into the international élite of high couture fashion accessory market.PORTFOLIO ISABELLA ZOCCHI'S DESIGN CONSULTANT ACTIVITYISABELLA ZOCCHI BIO - ITALIAN Formatasi al liceo artistico di Varese nella nuova sezione sperimentale, Isabella Zocchi, classe 1976, deve al padre i suoi esordi nel mondo dei gioielli già dal 1995. E’ infatti presso il laboratorio orafo di famiglia, dove acquisisce le competenze tecniche di base del settore, che scopre le prime abilità manuali nell’arte della modellazione in cera di ciondoli, orecchini e anelli.Volta verso una specializzazione creativa, decide di iscriversi all’Istituto Europeo di Design di Milano dove frequenta il corso triennale in Design del Gioiello. Alcuni tra i progetti sviluppati sono selezionati e inseriti nella Gallery storica di IED moda lab (30 opere per celebrare i primi 30 anni dalla fondazione). Diplomatasi a pieni voti nel 1999, collabora inizialmente con studi di design e aziende di gioielli e occhiali fino a quando, nell’ottobre 2000, sceglie di caratterizzare la propria attività di designer intraprendendo la strada dello sviluppo prodotto nel campo gioielli e orologi presso prestigiose case d’orologeria. Approda così alla Binda Italia SPA di Milano nel reparto R&D come assistente del Responsabile di reparto per i marchi Breil, Tribe by Breil e Breil Jewels. Disegna eccezionalmente nel Settembre 2001 il modello Bonn per D&G Dolce & Gabbana Time, che sarà inserito in campagna stampa Primavera Estate 2002. Nel Luglio 2002 passa alla Bulgari-Sectorgroup SPA, sempre di Milano, dove è impiegata nello stesso reparto con il ruolo di Project Manager per i marchi Roberto Cavalli Timewear, Just Cavalli Time, Moschino Hours & Minutes. Dall’Aprile 2004 prende il via una nuova fase professionale, collabora con la Società di Hong Kong Retkie Industries LTD, nel ruolo di Senior Designer & Developer per i marchi Iceberg, Enrico Coveri, Fila e Viceroy. Le attività coinvolgono unitamente lo stile e lo sviluppo prodotto di orologi, gioielli e accessori moda. Per circa 2 anni si trasferisce ad Hong Kong dove trascorre più di 6 mesi all’anno, mentre presiede l’Ufficio Stile di Milano durante le fasi di creazione e finalizzazione del prodotto, ricerca materie prime e presentazioni agli stilisti. Per una più completa formazione in campo del design frequenta nell’Ottobre 2005 un corso intensivo di specializzazione in Design degli Accessori presso l’Istituto di Moda Burgo di Milano dove supera brillantemente l’esame di progettazione di una collezione di scarpe. Spirito temerario, sempre alla ricerca di nuovi stimoli e aperta a sfide innovative ed importanti, decide di mettere a frutto l’esperienza maturata avviando nel 2006 lo ISABELLA ZOCCHI DESIGN STUDIO, locato nel dinamico distretto di Gallarate, alle porte di Milano. Lo Studio offre una consulenza creativa ed organizzata per Produttori e Distributori Internazionali di orologi e gioielli fornendo lo sviluppo completo dal disegno alla realizzazione del prototipo. Durante il primo anno disegna le ultime collezioni di orologi di Nautica (Callanen International LLC, New York), Helveco (Chronograph International Co, Dubai), Adrenalina (Parlux Fragrances LLC, Miami), Aigner e Police (Tick-Tack G.V., Svizzera). L’attività di consulente stilistica la porterà a vincere il concorso “Adotta un nuovo imprenditore†indetto dall’Associazione Artigiani della Provincia di Varese riservato alle nuove iniziative imprenditoriali selezionate secondo il criterio di innovazione e sviluppo del territorio. Il 2007 segna un punto di svolta decisivo: insieme con il padre Oreste e il fratello Denis fonda la Società ORDEIS srl con sede a Samarate (VA) per la produzione e distribuzione del marchio Isabella Zocchi Collezioni anticipando la sua prima linea personale di calzature, borse e gioielli alta moda con un’esclusiva collezione Autunno Inverno. Londra segna il debutto di fronte ad un pubblico esclusivo e Media internazionali con una sfilata evento durante la prestigiosa manifestazione fieristica annuale LA DOLCE VITA dedicata al lusso del Made in Italy, tenutasi al Grand Hall Olympia nel marzo 2008. Da subito un prestigioso riconoscimento per le calzature firmate Isabella Zocchi.
