R1 consists of two people, Rob D'Riche and production partner Richie Montana.
R1 is the only london based remix team that are officially remixing the monster tracks of the old school from companies such as Ministry Of Sound, Atlantic, Warner, Skint Records etc.
We run our own label and recording studios in london and have produced and work with artist such as writer David Myers (Jack In The Box, Elaine Page, The Temptations), Errol Brown and Lisa Scott Lee (3SL) was something special to add to the road towards pop music. Later D'Riche moved on to work with Ratpack, Baby.D, Gemma Fox, Dina Vass, 2 Play, Peter Andre, Martha Wash, Moloko, Robbie Craig, Robbie Gee (Guy Richies "snatch"), Tony T (phats n small) Soulshaker-Robbie Craig- 2play- Simon Webbe- Tiny Tempa, Roll Deep (feat Wiley & Dizzy Rascal), Eskimo 3, Fire camp (Oi Remix feat Lethal B, Ozzie B & fumin) Nasty crew (feat D Double E, Kano, Jammer jamek da world)Dirty doogz(ghetto lfie). Ruff squad (Tings in Boots refix feat Rapid, Tincy Strider) & Slew Dem crew. Roses are Red, Pure Silks ayia nappa anthem feat CKP & Blakey & remix of Saturday Night feat Oliver Cheetham. Other production collaborators have included Agent X, Frankie Foncett, Operator,& Chewy with Releases on Grooveyard, Confetti, Pure Silk, Outlaw, Broadley music & Back2Front Records. Remixed & original tracks have also appeared on various compilations including Sony BMG & Pure Silk releases.
