About Me

Between undergrad at the University of Illinois and grad school at Indiana University I have been in the midwest for about 8 years. I have been living in Chicago for two years and absolutely love it. Sometimes when it is freezing in January & February I wish I were back in FL, but otherwise Chicago is great. I am working as a school psychologist at an elementary school in the suburbs which means that I do the reverse commute every day. While I don't like spending so much time in the car, I am not about to move to the suburbs. Oh, and I also have a cute chihuahua named Bitsy! Right now I'm just enjoying the fact that I have the summers off. Nothing can beat sunny weather, stree fests, and not having to get up early for work for 8 weeks!!!

My Interests

Going out with friends, swimming, running, going to the beach, traveling, and cooking.

Oprah and Eric Dane (McSteamy from Grey's Anatomy)

Music:

I like pretty much everything. My all-time favorite is probably Dave Matthews, but I love Blue October, Cartel, and Augustana.

Movies:

I love Notting Hill, Pretty Woman, Goonies, Adventures in Babysitting, Shawshank Redemption, Old School, and Wedding Crashers. My newer favaorites are the Departed & Blood Diamond (although they were really sad)and I thought Knocked Up was hysterical.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy & Law & Order SVU.

Heroes:

Anyone who is 20-something and has enough money to buy a condo in Chicago. Please give me some financial pointers!! =)
