About Me

P. Fine been mic controlling since 1989 in Burton on Trent. Back then also as a D.J to the sounds of HipHop, R&B and House. Got together with some friends and set up a sound system called IceLove and a promotion company called Hot Bubblegum Promotions. In the early 1990's they set up a pirate radio station called Bassline 101FM. The radio station ran for about 2 years and in the mean time they also organised various dance events with a variety of styles of dance music. Eventually, these events would also incorporate music from the rave scene, and a popular DJ would guest on the line-up.It was around 1991 when he started to lean more towards the MCing as opposed to DJing owing to the fact that he was receiving numerous requests for microphone controlling. This was when PetaPan emerged as the guide for lost souls. When the rave scene started to breakout and forge numerous directions in the mid nineties, PetaPan carried on along the hardcore / techno route while P. Fine persued the drum and bass sound. Over the years, he has MC'd to a whole host of DJ's from different genres of music. Choosing not to pidgeon-hole himself, he believes that an open mind is a broad mind and each beat holds the key to a degree of thought... And it don't stop there...!
