"Electronic Grindcore" (eGrind) started in the 1990's when computers became cheaper and readily available. Grindcore itself started in the 80s and characterized by blastbeats and a high/low vocal combination. Napalm Death is among the first grindcore bands with their "From Enslavement To Obliberation" album. eGrind takes on the same characteristics as manual instrument grindcore, but replaces the manual instruments with computer programs.
Programs used
FL Studio is among the most used program to create eGrind. Reason is probably second. However, there are many drum machine programs out today that are less complex than the bigger all in one type software packages.Manual instrument eGrind?
