Matthew Reece

Matthew Reece, a young, talented musician, singer, and songwriter, who’s ultimate goal is to rejuvenate worship throughout the United States. Born in Gastonia 15 minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina, Matthew has dedicated his life to ministry through Contemporary Christian Music. John Jacobs founder of the Power Team said, “Matthew displays great enthusiasm and has an anointing through his worship. It was an honor having him as our worship leader on our crusades.” Currently Matthew is working on his second CD which will release in late 2007. He is attending different churches to introduce himself to different denominations and congregations. Matthew also has a band to travel that helps him extend his ministry throughout the nation. Matthew has been involved in some facet of music for years. In High School he was selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York. He was a Middle School Worship leader for a Hickory Grove Baptist Church that has over 10,000 members. Matthew attended the Institute for Biblical Studies and graduated from Studies in Prophecy, Biblical Studies. Most recently, Matthew was the Assistant Praise and Worship Leader for Bethlehem Church. He also directed the Celebrate Recovery service for the church. Wanting to touch more people through his ministry Matthew is now looking for churches that are interested in having him come do a concert or help with youth events across the nation. He has been to Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia to extend his ministry. Hopefully he will achieve his goal of sharing the gospel with everyone he is contact with. “It is my desire that I be as a magnifying glass - making Christ’s love apparent to all people through praise and worship,” shares Matthew.
