You: Why do all of your songs seem like a pop sheen barely covering a roiling nest of guilt, anger, self loathing and regret?
Me: Because that's what they are. But somewhere in there is always a glimmer of hope or even redemption.

You: Are you going to make any of your songs into ring tones?

Me: I think it would be awesome to have one that just went "ring ring" like old phones used to. Even my home phone has ring tones on it, it's lunacy.
