Travis, Talk of the Tavern

I have had a regular MySpace for a few years now, but have recently decided to begin a topical podcast. This is the MySpace for that. So I may add some old friends and favorites, as well as make some new friends.The show will be my a wide variety of topics from current events, to rants, to comedy from my head. I shall smoke cigars, discuss books and TV, enjoy an occassional drink, have guest speakers, highlight musical talent, and whatever else strikes my fancy.I am an adventurer. Sometimes a sword-wielding swashbuckler, other times a shady pirate. I am on the road of life and I love to travel. Not just from town to town, but in life, in ideas, in thoughts, experiences, in everything! I have seen the darker sides of life and been dazzled by the wonders of the lighter side. My life is NEVER dull. There are always things going on. I once tried having nothing going on and it about killed me. If there isn’t activity and I have no purpose or accomplishments, then that is as good as dead.You may see me sitting on the front porch enjoying a delightful pipe, or working hard at building something out of wood or some other outdoor task. Perhaps you shall find me at an Irish Pub enjoying a lively band and a pint or perusing a bookstore for old favorites or new treasures. You may find me in the arena, in a friendly combat of wits or perhaps fighting some social ogre that needed subdued. Oh woe to the insensitive oaf who carelessly tramples folk they consider below their notice. It’s my silly sense of injustice, if only I had a sense of justice instead, my life may of been a tad easier.I enjoy medieval music and have for years. Many have seen me in kilt or tights, either may have a sword accompanying the outfit. I have entertained on stages, danced in wooded glens, and sang in hallowed marbled halls. Some have thought of me as a rogue, a pirate, I have been called noble and even addressed as Sir, but at heart I am merely a gypsy that loves life and all things in it.Right now I am creating the grandest adventure for myself yet! I have been the wandering storyteller, worked the sweatshops of life and fought the perils of the darkness that tries to swallow all of our individuality at some time or another. And I came out victorious!
