The inevitable who am I the question. I am the remembrance of past times. The old soul walking among the masses. Yearning for a time long past, that seems so out of reach. I am love, quiet forgiveness, yet still not completely peaceful. I live in my mind as it is the only way that I cope. I am not a category, nor can you really place me in one. I am the unique embodiment of the true path, awaiting the time that I can truly enjoy the Summerland. My earthbound body holds memories of hatred, war, sweat, and blood. Yet a smile is shown outwardly graphic for all to see. I am the darkness that one fears to embrace; it is where I am most content. Nature surrounds the chamber that supplies my life force. I am me. Where do I begin, except at the beginning right. I grew up in Corpus, but felt that I had to spread my wings at an early age. By the time I was 19 I had signed my second contract with the Army, and was on my way to Ft. Bragg. I traveled to many placed, but the most remembered was Iraq. On Deployment I made friends with people whom I will never forget. I have strong beliefs that are my own interpretation of the way my life should be. I worship Life and its beginning with both the Great Mother and The Green Man. I can be an easy person to get along with, however I do not like big crowds surrounding me. I have a few close friends that know me to be loving passionate, and caring, and a few people whom know me to be the exact opposite. I fight for veteran's rights, as I am also a disabled veteran. I am an animal lover and I have a beautiful miniature dachshund named Sasha. She has brought me out of the darkest times in my life and continues to make me laugh no matter how upset I may be. I Owe a lot to my Father for being there in his own way in my life, although as hard headed as he my be. My Momma , whom taught me to be strong, confident, and graceful growing up. There are times that I feel inadequate, yet those that are close to me fight to keep me on an even keel. I know that I want a family and hope to one day have one. I will tell you that messing with my loved ones or my friends can get you in a lot of hot water where I am concerned. I have earned the right to speak freely in this country by wearing the Army uniform, and fighting for the rights of others. If you think that is no huge task, I challenge you to step into a soldier's boots and see what it is like. If you see a veteran on the street or a soldier stop and thank them, they are the reason that you are free.
