I moved to Huntersville, NC when I was 13, and graduated from North Meck. H.S. in '04. I then graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2008 w/ a BA in Sociology and a minor in Public Policy Analysis. Now, I work full-time for a wonderful non-profit organization in Chapel Hill.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *I have always loved music. I remember being really into my parents' old Elton John and Chicago tapes. While I will not list all of the embarrassing music I was into through the middle school years, I will say that some of the stuff from the high school era has definitely had a bit of an influence on my musical self. The ones I'm thinking of are Creed and The Calling, and a lot of other popular rock/pop stuff from the late 90s and early 00s. I got my first guitar for xmas 2000, and have mostly taught myself since. My favorite bands for the last few years have been Coheed And Cambria and Motion City Soundtrack, but I don't think my style really reflects them much (except when I cover them, haha).* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *I think that's all about myself.
