Hassan Kamel fell in love with electronic music at an early age. He was only 12 when he first started collecting Ministry of Sound Compilations alongside other albums by DJs like Paul van Dyke and Judge Jules... The big turning point was in the summer of 2001 when Hassan, a 14 year old, saw Anthony Pappa and Nigel Dawson spinning at a club in Egypt, his home country. That's when he took interest in House Music specifically and knew he wanted to be part of it. Collecting almost every Global Underground Album out there, he was greatly influenced by DJs like Sasha, Nick Warren and Steve Lawler, who created the groundwork for his style. But little attention was given to the young prodigy in Egypt.
In 2004 Hassan at 17 moved to Montreal, a city immersed with big DJs and greatly influenced by House Music. That's when he took his DJing career to the next level. It didn't take long for people to take notice of his talent and unique style. Since then he has played at some of the biggest clubs in Montreal such as Stereo-Bar and Tribe... His sets were also played on popular radio stations like House-Pacific. There's no doubt his music offers something extraordinary to the Montreal nightlife. The combination of Hassan's style and his passion for music will surely lead him to the top one day.*****E-mail, MSN: [email protected] *****
