LEROY ONESTONE

Leroy Carlton Gabriel, nació el 08/08/1969 en la Isla de Granada (Caribe) en el seno de una familia humilde, y desde su niñez siempre mostró un gran interés por cantar, sobre todo en la adolescencia, cuando empieza a afinar sus cuerdas vocales con un sound system de su ciudad, grabando varias canciones en solitario y combinaciones con Davied Dog en el Mount Zion Studio y comenzando así su carrera musical con fuerza, como su nombre artístico nos indica: LEROY ONE STONE.En el 2002 aterriza en España teniendo una agradable bienvenida cantando con el grupo malagueño Roots Amala en el ALDAJAH REGGAE FESTIVAL, compartiendo escenario con SISTER CAROL y U-ROY. A lo largo de su trayectoria en España, Leroy a participado acompañado de varias bandas y sound systems en diversos festivales como TARIFA REGGAE FESTIVAL, ALDAJAH REGGAE, ENTRESURES, MARBELLA REGGAE FESTIVAL...,compartiendo escenario con artistas legendarios como ALTON ELLIS, MAX ROMEO, EEK A MOUSE, BURNING SPEARS, TURBULENCE, JUNIOR KELLY, JAH MASON...etc. Durante estos años en España, Leroy realiza diferentes grabaciones con el productor malagueño Ras Jouqmahi y con los cordobeses Indica Sound (Cañas! & Jahvy), editando un tema en colaboración con Jah Fabio en su disco "Different session’s" (NTR-007) para Natty Congo Records en el 2005. En este tiempo Leroy trabaja sus líricas y sus propias composiciones, participa en mayo de 2006 en el disco recopilatorio Reggae is Life! de Cañas! & Jahvy y a finales de noviembre recopila la mejor selección de sus canciones en un disco promocional llamado LEROY ONESTONE "Now & Then", que puedes descargar gratuitamente en http://www.indicasound.net Agradeciendo de todo corazón las oportunidades y la ayuda que le han brindado, One Stone trabaja diariamente su música, esforzándose en guardar ese estilo tan personal que lo caracteriza y escribiendo canciones para seguir lanzando al mundo mensajes de Paz, Amor, Libertad y Justicia.Enhlish version: ...
