About Me

Myspace Layouts First off..My names Marshal..I'm 21...I AM SINGLE...an music is pretty much my life..Nowadays I get my inspiration from my dad...in Nov 2006 he found out he had stage 4 lung cancer...it quickly spread to his brain an he died 6 months later on "Tuesday, April 24th, 2007" I miss him like crazy...it still dosen't seem real...I think of him everyday an everytime I pick a pen or guitar up...But anyway...I first heard rap when I was with my grandmother who I live wit...My mom had jus barley found out she had cancer for the 1st time "she's a 2 time cancer survivor" an we were on the way to the hospital..I was like 7 or 8 an my uncle Scott had left a cassette tape wit Naughty By Nature an some other stuff on it...I really can't remember wat else...so I was introduced to rap in the early 90's...I still remember the first tape I bought..Onyx "Bac da fuc up" I thought the shit was awesome..My mom an my gram did'nt agree...Even tho my gram did'nt like it she still bought me Snoops "Doggystyle" for christmas that same year..after that I was hooked..I memorized every song..I did'nt even know what chronic was...But I still loved the beats an flow snoop had...my father "RIP" was fuckin pissed...He brought me up on rock n roll an he had taught me how to play guitar at a very young age..so he was upset for a while..but he got used to it. It's kinda funny because my dad use to teach me dirty rhymes when I was really little...so in a way he's the one who got me into rapping. When I was 9 or 10 my parents split an I moved wit my mom to Lebanon NH. I hated it there...but my mom eventually got sick of leb. so we moved back to windsor 3 years later...this was around the time Eminem was blowin up wit My name is...Billy Rose a friend from school introduced me to the Slim Shady LP. I was obsessed with the shit....now it's "Fuck Shady"...but back then I really felt him because first off he was white, he had the same first name as me and he had a ruff childhood like I did. Not long after I started smoking pot an gettin fucked up. I spent alot of time in my old basement room downloading beats from napster/kaza an writing stupid lil raps..I stuck wit it for a couple years. One day I was jus chillin gettin high in my room an my friend Aspen came over wit a kareoke machine his mom had bought for him. I started makin lil demo tapes on it. People would come over an smoke wit me an I would play the tape...needless to say it was pretty sick an people liked it..Even my mom whitch suprised the hell outta me. So I kept makin demo tapes...I joined a couple groups an made mixtapes. The first mixtape in 2002 was with the "202 crew".."10E, Witness an Mocash" we called it "Skillz From The Hillz EP" We only made like 200 copys an it's pretty much impossible to find...After that I was working at the Windsor train station resturaunt where I met a Kid named Aurthor Rafus "Problematic" We hit it off...he asked me to join his group "Politics".."Problematic an Reese 45" on his self ran label "OpenCase Records" an we began writing an recording the "Taking Out The Garbage Mixtape" in 2003. After the album droped Matic an I had a falling out over some show we were supposed to do. After that I hooked back up wit Mocash from the "202" an we started making tracks together. We did things jus the two of us until the summer of 2005 when I somehow got Brook Tardys AIM screen name...Brook Tardy aka "Ill D" or "RBG" ran his own label..He called it "Breadtruck Productions" whitch at the time consist of "RBG, Young G, Jbust, Zodiak, Weapon 3, Lush, and Behave...We started talking an I sent him some tracks I did on a demo tape wit Cash...One1 of the songs was "Who U Be." Brook likes it so he started talking about doing a collab song dissin Matic from "Opencase." I thought it was a good idea so we made plans to meet up at his house in Wilder. A few days later Mocash an I drove over to meet Brook. He brought us down to the studio an we recorded "Northside Anthem." It came out perfect. Brook then asked us to join his crew an we started recording "Breadtruck Mixtape Volume 3." It came out tight an I prolly handed out about 400 copys myself. I stayed in the group for a while an we did a couple shows at Electra. That winter we started making songs for the "Mixtape Volume 4." I wrote some of my best stuff for it such as "Boom" an "Against Me rmx." But be4 Brook finished the cd the group fell apart. Young G an Bhave left because they were pissed about the direction the group was heading. Whitch was true because all Jbust wanted to make was love songs. So not long after I lost faith in Breadtruck so I went on my own. I did'nt put out anything for about 2 years. Until 10E from '202" started building his own studio an convinced me to start writing an recording wit him for a new Mixtape he called "Back For More" in 2007. The shit came out decent an we still perform the songs at partys an shit. That pretty much brings us to the present. I been writing the past 4 months for my first solo LP. It should be done by mid summer 08...I'll keep ya'll posted. One1 FREE GOULD!
