Coming out of nowhere, the Fightin' Phils started off the season on fire, never to look back. After winning the National League East and upsetting the heavily favored Atlanta Braves in the NLCS, they lost the World Series to the Toronto Blue Jays. However this rag-tag group of underachievers and cast offs captured the hearts of all Philadelphia sports fans.
