I'm Sophie. I keep changing my 'about me' section and now I can just never be happy with what I type. I live with my incredible partner who was previously undefeated at scrabble until I came along. His name is Drew Dedman (www.drewdedman.com). He is a wizard at bass guitar. (Go to youtube and check out a Superheist video clip to see him in action!) He owns a pair of mustard coloured underwear and has a mullet. We used to go out alot and be an outrageously extroverted insane couple but now we prefer to be at home playing computer games with each other, arguing over who fell asleep first and reading online sci fi erotica stories involving dragons and unicorns. (Yes, some nerd actually publishes his stories online). I like swimming at the beach but not in public pools, I like reading, I like staring at the coriander I planted and marvelling at my amazing gardening skills, I like getting text messages from Tony about his gay adventures in fag land, I love all my groups of close friends... All of which I've been friends with for the better part of a decade or more! I have no brothers or sisters but I have Pixie. My father makes handcrafted furniture and likes to yell about the civil war and politicians. My mother is an art teacher who wears a stackhat when she rides her bike and frequently crashes her ride on mower into the dam. They're divorced and live around the corner from each other. They're both very strange which explains why I am such a weirdo. I love cats and plan on being a cat lady. I want to own a house because I've always enjoyed browsing through books of carpet samples and one day I would like to point and say "That one!!!" I like travelling and plan to do alot more of it. I have a creepy obsession with living on De Grassi St in Canada so I can pretend I'm in the show... Oh my god. I love that show. I like singing along with the song at the start and saying "Degrassi Junior LOOOWWWW" instead of Degrassi Junior High. Then I laugh for ages and wish Bridget was there.....*sigh* ---- UPDATE ---- I'm having a baby in September!!! Very excited. It will be my first and Drew's third child. We're so in love and so happy and I am very much looking forward to my new role as a mother/stepmother. My last role was a boozy tart so it's a pretty big turn around. GIVE ME LOTS OF PRESENTS! I'M GREAT!!!!
