ASIASIGA JANUARY 2008 RUNS AMUCK AT LOCAL EL TORITOS!
A group of islander girls in a so-called women's group arrive at Burlingame's El Torito for what was supposed to be a mellow night of karaoke. After a few song numbers sung by the group (with ample use of provided props) and various other patrons, the women promptly turned the establishment into an impromptu dance and comedy club. A congo line and one-two step later, one of their members fell victim to the choo-choo and tore a ligament. The women stand by their claim that alcohol was not involved.
I talk a lot about how everthing happens for a reason, that of which does not kill us only makes us stronger, and to not make the mistake of perceiving misfortunes in life with regret only feel blessed to have been taught the lesson. But the fact of the matter is that life is sometimes hard. There are gaps in life that used to be filled with people and things that should still be there. And they aren't. But WE'RE here. I'm not going to waste your time with uplifting speeches about being heroes to yourself. I've come to find the best thing I can say is, "Hang in there."

There are two things you should never ask me my opinion about. Food and movies. Because I can never give you a definite answer. I know what I like, what I love, and I can tell the difference between quality and junk. But I tend to be okay with anything even if it doesn't always agree with me. I've seen some really great films, and some films disguising themselves as great. And I've seen some shitty films. And to tell you the truth . . .I enjoyed watching all of them. Except maybe for "Honey" . . .
