er... born in the uk though do not like to be reminded by people thank you very much. like a bit of madness every once in a while... miss uk clubbing. me mam's iranian and one day i'll speak the language fluently. dad's from yorkshire though he considers himself an honorary geordie as a result of a short college stint in newcastle. actually married to an american (shock!), the lovely tim, president of paste magazine - signs of life in music and culture oh yeah! currently i'm editor at southeast performer, here in the atl. whoop whoop. so all you local and regional music peeps, stand up and give a shout out - and stay in touch.aaaand... listen to bbc 6 music if you're feeling retro.
