When It Looks Better From a Distance is the title of the first full length record of Austrian based guitar-rock band Insecure. The album was released in 2005 and contains ten songs, which were recorded with the producer and musician Armin Breuer (Estate). Rock 'n' roll and atmosphere as well as ambitious songwriting and spontaneity combine, performed by five musicians, who want to get across that music can both touch heart and mind. The album has received a large number of reviews, for example in Visions magazine (demo of the month), Gitarre & Bass magazine, Hoersturz.net charts and many more print and online media.
After roughly 100 live performances, among others with Emil Bulls, Waterdown and the Wohlstandskinder, radio interviews and air play in Austria (e.g. FM4, Ö3), two EPs, of which one song is featured on the Warner Music compilation Rock-Now! Vol. One, and one full length album the members decided to put an end to their band.
