BROWNMAN REVIVAL (broun'man ri-vay'vel) n. An act that "creatively mixes the traditional roots sound of venerated reggae icon Bob Marley with a Hispano-tropical pop sensibility as only sun-loving Filipinos can". Influences include such contemporary reggae acts such as Big Mountain, Inner Circle and UB40.Brownman isn't just about danceable music, however. They are active members of Musicians for Peace and regularly perform for the causes they advocate. Whether promoting peace because of crisis, or generating donations, Brownman Revival is a usual sight at benefit shows. Founded in 1995Brownman Revival are:
