Hey all! I'm Kareem , I am a Guitar/Bass player born and raised in Queens, N.Y. I now reside in Northern VA, where besides teaching Guitar, I write and compose a variety of styles of music. The music you hear on this page is a solo project that I started about 3 years ago. Through the years I have written many songs, some with Vocals/Lyrics and some without. My favorite music being full of lead guitar, I started gravitating towards that style of writing. I thought that the Art of Guitar music was so incredibly expressive. The music of Satriani,Vai,Mozart etc,etc always said more to me than music that had words. I chose this format to express some of the experiences that I have gone through in my life. The music itself is an expression of a spiritual journey that I undertook when I first started to play the Guitar. Since then, the the two will be forever intertwined. I hope to uplift peoples spirit with my music and make a difference in the world someway,somehow. Thank you for visiting my page. I hope you have enjoyed the music you have heard here. The full CD which will be titled " Tales of Power" is almost completed. I am in the process of recording the CD's last song and just about all the songs you hear will be remixed and mastered.
