I hardly find time to watch television now I've found MySpace!!!
But I love these:
One of my all-time favourites is Catch 22 by Joseph Heller - it is very thought provoking and prophetical about the way modern society is run by corporate greed and the willingness of recent governments to outsource and privatise everything that moves.
On a similar vein are books by Eric Arthur Blair (George Orwell) (1984 and Animal Farm) (both so descriptive of modern Britain with it's (alledgedly???) corrupt politicians and over-regulaton and cctv cameras everywhere) and Kafka (just bizarre!!!)
I also really enjoyed all Dan Brown's books - they are impossible to put down!
Also, I like books by John Grisham, Stephen King, Kathy Reichs, Clive Cussler, Jeffrey Deaver, Robert Ludlum, Val McDermid, Jodi Picoult ...
