Ariya Audio is a recording studio located in Monroe, CT. We offer high-quality digital recordings with a professional setup and sound treated environment. We always have the latest versions of all the programs we run and have a full 16 simultaneous channels of audio recording as well as a full MIDI setup (with multiple control surfaces) capable of up to 48 tracks to help your experience run smooth and perfect. We record any style from rock to rap, punk and hardcore to jazz, and/or any style of acoustic or experimental music. Whether you are looking to record a few tracks, a rough demo, an EP or a full length we can design a recording package specifically for you and your needs.

Project consultation.
This is when we meet with the band and talk over what they would like to accomplish. Basically how many tracks, how much time they would like to spend on each track, and what they want them to sound like. We also talk pricing and payment plans here. Don't forget, we are willing to work with people on both. This is also the time when you decide if you need a producer to help you stay on task, budget, and also help you convey your ideas to the engineer to keep the whole process smooth and easy for everyone
Recording sessions.
This part of the process is pretty straight forward. This includes setup time of equipment, microphones, and rough/final tracking of all the parts. Basically making sure every part within each track has good levels and quality.
Mixing sessions.
Mixing is the most stressed part of the recording process. Since we already have good levels and quality for each part on each track from the recording process, this is the time for us to not only mix the levels to have the proper volumes between each other, but is also the time to handle any EQing, compression, effects busing and processing that is necessary. This includes automation of levels, panning, and effects.
Final mix consultation.
This is when we sit down with the whole band and review every track closely to make sure that all the levels, processing, panning and automation are perfect. We do any touch ups at this time.
Mastering
Mastering is the last step in the project process which is also the last chance to make sonic changes to the over all mix. This is also where we create a consistency between track levels. We offer basic mastering which means digital master in a variety of packages designed to what you need and also prefer. With this part of the process we can just adjust levels boosting them to industry standard volumes, also we can put final EQing on the over all mix to keep a consistency as well as create a perfect sonic tone for the whole mix together.
Final project consultation
This is the last consultation with the band where we hand each member a CD copy with every track complete and mastered in stereo, and celebrate the projects completion by popping bubble wrap.
