Klaus Brennsteiner

Born in 1987 near from Salzburg, Austria, Klaus had his first drum-lessons at the age of 8 with Joseph Wieser Jun. . His first public appearances took place in 1996 with the local music teachers and their ensembles. In 1999 he joined the classical Orchestra of Mittersill as a snare drum player first and after some time he played not just snare drum anymore but all the instruments required. After attending boarding school in 1998 he had lessons with various teachers, such as Michael Honzak. Since 2006 he is studying at the Drummers Focus Salzburg with Markus Meinecke. In 2007 he attended the Drummers Collective in New York City for a short but intensive period of time.
